The site http://www.dirtclub.com is one of many sites on the World Wide Web that deal with the sport of off road racing. However, http://www.dirtclub.com is one of the atypical sites on the World Wide Web in the context that it manages to encourage the observer to move a little distance away from his customary behavior and go out into unsheltered territory and attempt something novel and fresh. It is definite that fans of the sport will clearly be delighted with the site. The out of the ordinary point to take note of is that the site manages to talk about and discuss every aspect on the subject of the sport of off road racing in such a manner that it makes the sport look engaging and captivating. In doing so, the site is doing some noticeable work towards promoting the cause of the sport of off road racing. The site is made with a black background. There are separate boxes on the homepage each of which deals with a different category of information related to the world of off road racing. These boxes are made up of a dark gray header and light gray background. Possibly the most striking feature on the homepage is the splash of bright yellow on the right side catches the attention of the viewer almost as soon as the site is opened. This bright column advertises the membership to the Dirt Club, which is the club that runs the site by the same name. Membership, as advertised on the site, is free. Towards the top of the site is a horizontal panel that has different tabs which all lead to different sections of the site. These offer a wide variety of options ranging from videos and pictures to groups and trails. The homepage of the site showcases a variety of happenings including the upcoming events and all the latest videos.
